Welcome to the Residence Fair for Nordic and Baltic artist residencies at HIAP Suomenlinna, Gallery Augusta, on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 12–18.

Nordic-Baltic AiRFair presents activities of already established residencies as well as offers an opportunity to work on development of concepts for new residencies and to build new networks. During the day you will hear a series of presentations and a panel discussion, mingle and tell about your residency while enjoying a lunch buffet.
Residency presenters can present material (printed material etc.) from the residencies at the information stands in Gallery Augusta.

How can residencies meet the new challenges within the field of international comtemporary arts? What is the role of sustainability within artist residencies?

Nordic-Baltic AiRFair is organized in collaboration between HIAP Helsinki International Artist Programme, Nordic Culture Point, Nordic-Baltic Residence Network and the Ministry of Culture and Education and is part of the Nordic Council of Minister’s presidency seminar.
