Everypony

Everybody loves My Little Ponies.  Everypony is representing a piece of My Little Pony fandom as it is, queer, carnivalized, straight from the internet and very much alive. There are the levels men try to understand and Everypony want to show. Haters gonna hate! Everypony is collaborative group of Suvi Suvereeni, Metu & Klonkku and Silja Nuotio.

Joseph Ravens creates time-based art works that encompass text, movement, installation, technology, costume, and object.

“I strive to challenge expectations and champion a dialogue between time-based art forms. Established disciplines serve as reference points to make abstract actions accessible to those outside the insular communities of art or academia.”

Over the past decade Ravens has presented his work at international festivals throughout Asia, Europe, South America, and the US. He is a recipient of the Illinois Arts Council Fellowship for Interdisciplinary/Performance Art, and the Illinois Arts Council Fellowship for New Performance Forms. Founder and Executive Director of DEFIBRILLATOR performance art gallery, Ravens was recently named a 2012 Chicago New City Breakout Artist.

 

Dominic Thorpe works primarily through live/perormance based processes. His work explores presence and experience at the moment of encounter, both for the artist and audience. He believes presence, experience and encounter are crucial to developing deeper understanding, enabling response and generating relationships. Transformation.

Thorpe has shown and performed work extensively in Ireland and internationally, including at the Bergen Museum of Art Norway, the Guangzhou Festival of Live Art China, the Infr’Action Performance Art Festival Venice, Live Action Sweden, Performance Space London, Catylist Arts Centre Belfast, the Third Space Gallery Belfast, Templebar Gallery Dublin and the RHA Dublin. Thorpe founded Unit1 in Dublin which is dedicated to providing space for performance artists to create work and for audiences to experience new performance work.
