Lieven Lahaye

Lieven Lahaye (1985, Belgium) is an artist and publisher, interested in the value of ephemeral information and amateur practices. He produces printed matter, texts, objects and performances with the aim of cataloging, reactivating, highlighting and sharing information. Since 2016, he’s published ‘Catalog’, a serial publication about cataloging. He’s a tutor at the Master of Arts in Graphic Design at Estonian Academy of Arts and was an artist-in-residence at WIELS, Brussels (2023) and Air Berlin Alexanderplatz (2022).

During a residency period at HIAP, I’m excited to start new research and develop collaborations with Helsinki based artists, musicians and publishers for a new issue of ‘Catalog’.
