Friederike Siebert
Friederike Siebert (b. 1981) studied art sciences and German philology at the University of Kassel. She works on different projects concerning art mediation. Among other projects she developed educational concepts for the Hessian National Exhibition König Lustik!? and the Brothers Grimm Exhibition Märchenwerkstattand worked for the Kunsthalle Fridericianum. From 2008 to 2010 she was head of the “audiovisual performance” section of the Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival. In 2011 she managed the press and public relations department at the Kunsthalle Fridericianum and in 2012 she became project manager of the educational department for children at dOCUMENTA (13), Kassel. From May 2013 she will be responsible for the public program of the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany, Bonn. At the moment (March/April 2013) she is a CuMMA resident in Helsinki working together with students on different topics. The theme of the seminar is Contemporary Art and Art Exhibition as learning environment.
