Adam Frelin

In my work I create sculptures, props, or staged events that are recorded and exhibited as photographs, videos, or project proposals. Each project I undertake has its own distinct character, but in the broadest sense the content of my work pertains to physical laws of nature and the points at which these laws and our constructed world intersect. Each media or medium becomes a means toward a thematic end in which I hope to evoke a sensation that ambles between entrapment and transcendence, humor and death.
