Tessa Zettel
Tessa Zettel is an artist, writer and researcher who works in various collaborative modes to imagine or enact other ways of living. Her projects often employ a kind of fabulist archaeology that makes visible contested histories and possible futures, adapting and revaluing overlooked cultural practices or knowledge. She is presently a member of interdisciplinary groups Collective Disaster, The Librarium and Weathering, and was a co-founder of Makeshift, whose speculative site-based work appeared in places like If you were to live here… 5th Auckland Triennial (Fresh Gallery, Auckland, 2013) and In the Balance: Art for a Changing World (Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, 2010).
