HIAP Open Studios offers the opportunity to meet up with the artists-in-residence and get a glimpse of the work that they have been developing during their residency. The event takes place towards the end of each three-month residency season, in late May, August, and November.  The supporting curator for the autumn season is Marina Valle Noronha (Finland/Brazil).

Works on show at HIAP 18–20 November
After the Open Studios event, works by Spartak Khachanov & Anastasia Khachanova, Anikó Kuikka, Andrey Bogush, Marie-Andrée Godin, Antti Salminen & Saara Hannula, and Ahmed Alaqra will be on show at the HIAP Gallery Augusta & Project Space from Monday, 18 November until Wednesday, 20 November.
Opening hours: 11:00 – 16:00.
The works by Elizaveta Konovalova, Rhiannon Newton and Akira Takaishi will be on show at their studios by appointment. Contact: HIAP Residency Manager Eleni Tsitsirikou <eleni (at) hiap.fi>.

 

How to get there
Please take the ferry at 16:40 from the Market Square (Kauppatori).  You are very welcome to join us also later during the event! The Suomenlinna ferry schedule will be available online after the switch to the winter timetable on 4.11.
