Tamara Searle is a director, performance maker, and writer based in Melbourne, Australia. Her practice most often involves collaboration with outsiders and untrained performers. She works across theatre, film, and live performance.
I will use the residency to explore methodology, and to research for new work. To do this I will observe and participate in Finnish theatre and contemporary performance practice. Emersion in Nordic culture will provide aesthetic influence and distance to reflect on my own work. —Tamara
