Helsinki-Frankfurt Residency Exchange
Helsinki-Frankfurt Residency Exchange offers residencies for Finnish artists in Kulturbunker, Frankfurt and for German artists in HIAP, Helsinki. The exchange programme is co-organised by HIAP – Helsinki International Artist Programme and the City of Frankfurt am Main.
The aim of the exchange is to provide participating artists with time, space, and support for their creative work and to foster dialogue, collaboration and networking opportunities. Through the residencies, the programme also encourages cultural interaction between the two cities.
In 2014, one artist from Finland will be selected for a two-month residency at Kulturbunker. For the selected artist, the residency will cover the cost of travel from and to Helsinki, and a grant of 1800 euros. The artist will also be given the opportunity to present work at the annual international group exhibition of the Kulturbunker artists-in-residence, organised by the City of Frankfurt am Main.
The residency takes place in June–July, 2014.
The deadline for the applications is April 3, 2014. The results of the selection process are communicated to all applicants in due time.

All applications of a professional standard submitted for the exchange programme are appropriately considered.
