In her exhibition Now, Reanimated Elina Bäckman examines the truth and evidence value of mediated images, and especially the transformation of the concept of the image in this digitized era of image manipulation. The works concentrate thematically on displaying the conventions of understanding the world through the visual, human-made, edited and framed ‘truth’. The exhibition will be at the Cable Gallery from November 18 to December 5, 2010.
