Resident artist Nina Kurtela opens the doors of her studio for all on Wednesday, 14.08.2013. From 6 pm onwards you’re warmly welcome to join Nina over some nice tunes, food, and refreshments. Perhaps talk a bit about her current project: how a young Croatian artist, for years mistaken as a Finn thanks to her very Finnish sounding name, can actually become a Finnish artist. Feel free to contribute to the party potluck style; snacks, refreshments, music recommendations, maybe even objects or ideas that would help Nina in her process of Finnish artist identity-building.
