HIAP is Hiring – Marketing & Communications Coordinator (Part Time / Fixed Term)

We are looking for a part time Marketing & Communications Coordinator who can help us reach a wide range of audiences across all of HIAP’s activities.
Deadline: 16 March 2025 (23:00 EET)
Start date: as soon as possible
Salary: €1300 p/month
Time: 50% Part Time
Contract: 1 Year Fixed Term. We are also open to receiving proposals for delivery of the job description as a service.

Job Description
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will work across HIAP’s activities to support a wide range of audiences and stakeholders to engage with our work. This includes:
- Developing and coordinating content across various digital communications channels including social media, websites and newsletters.
- Identifying opportunities to grow our reach through these channels, including assessing current and new platforms and addressing how our content can speak to a more diverse audience base.
- Coordinating communication with the networks HIAP leads and is a member of: including the FAIRE Finnish Artist Residency Network and Resartis. This will include coordinating and attending events in person and online.
- Working with the Director to improve communication including identifying ways of developing our brand(s) and tone of voice.
- Working with the HIAP Staff to identify opportunities to promote our activities, events and tell HIAP’s story.
- Improving accessibility of HIAP’s communication practices.
This is a delivery role which requires skills in coordination, content creation and digital literacy. As this role is in communications, the post holder will need to speak and write in both Finnish and English confidently. Graphic design, photography and / or video editing skills will be an advantage – there is an option to include visual examples of this in the application.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, communicating with a broad range of people and developing imaginative and playful creative content.
