Adelaide Bannerman (b.1971)
My research interests are focused on valorising the performative gestures and engagements with live and visual performance art, and privileging the process behind individual and group autonomic practices. I have tentatively explored, noted and when possible, co-opted movement and improvisatory methods as part of my curatorial practice.
For HIAP, Rosa Emilia is a thematic residency that will question and respond to the permutations of what it means to be ‘in residence’, and in collaboration with invited Finnish and internationally based creative practitioners.
