Anna Tereshkina

Anna Tereshkina graduated Omsk State Pedagogical University and School of Engaged Art initiated by Chto Delat group in St. Petersburg. Anna works as artist in different media (from drawing and illustration to video and audio installations) and takes a part in collective curatorial initiatives in Russia such as Feminist Workshops inspired by Lucy Lippard (a collaborative project for artists, activists and researchers organizing lectures, artist’s talks, roundtables, collaborative meetings and exhibitions).

In April 2015 Anna presented the exhibition with a series of graphics which were created using the method of autodrawing during phone calls with her mother. This intimate research of private conflict became a mirror of painfull situation of generation and political disunity in Russian society.
