The process is a search, a way of finding and identifying the familiar in my surroundings as well as in the emotional spheres.

I unlock a void where there is a memory, an undefined or unconscious feeling. This void has a vague shape, like when you cant remember a name or a word but you know its there in your mind.

In the process of making an artwork there are endless decisions to be made and I am methodically and obsessively questioning every step I take.

It is way of visual thinking where memory and material embrace, not to define or understand but rather to amplify the familiar by deconstruction. By taking things apart and catching what falls in between.

This search is conducted in order to get closer to an experience, listening to perception and giving it a sense of form.
