Daniel Peltz

Daniel Peltz was born in 1975 in New York. He combines his backgrounds in anthropology and media production to create installations, interventions and performances. His projects often use media technologies, primarily live-feed video, to build social/sculptural machines in need of human performers.

Peltz´ is currently a 2007-08 Fulbright Scholar hosted by the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies at Konstfack, University College of Arts Crafts and Design in Stockholm.

He lives and works in Pawtucket, Rhode Island where he is an Assistant Professor of Film/Animation/Video at the Rhode Island School of Design.
