Harrie Liveart was conceived by the shared mind of the artists Meri Linna and Saija Kassinen in 2008. During Harrie’s lifespan, the physical embodiment of Linna and Kassinen has been utilized in creating performative images.
The residency and studio space for Harrie Liveart was granted by The Academy of Fine Arts Foundation collaboration with Helsinki International Artist Programme (HIAP).
Finally, Harrie has a home — the 12-month studio residency at HIAP — where Harrie is claiming its own existential ground and attempting to develop independence. – Harrie Liveart
