Helena Schlichting

Helena Schlichting uses photography as a base for conducting experiments, research and procedures. The actual picture taking is only a small part of her practice, in which photography is used mainly as a technique for image conversion and processing various materials. Schlichting is interested in the photographic chemical process as an analog medium of memory and time, together with the respective space she’s working in.
