Kalle Hamm is an artist based in Helsinki, whose work examines cultural encounters and their impacts both in historical and contemporary contexts.

Dzamil Kamanger is an Iranian artist based in Helsinki, who works on his own experiences as a refugee by using traditional Iranian handicraft techniques.

Hamm and Kamanger have collaborated for over ten years dealing with the position of marginality in mainstream culture. In their latest works, the ponderings on the encounter of two cultures have evolved into examinations of global networks. For example, in the works Con-Fusion Food and Trivial Pizza, they followed the routes of different food recipes and ingredients.
