Past Residents Lukas Kühne
Lukas Kühne is a German sculptor who deals with space and frequency.He is based in Berlin and Montevideo.
During his residency at HIAP he works on the artistic research regarding of form and sound relationship at ”Passio Musicae” the Sibelius Monument from Eila Hiltunen, in cooperation with the Goethe-Institute Helsinki. This investigation includes the measuring of the original entry to first competition as well as the 1:5 model of the monument which is located at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. And also the full size elements which are located at the grounds of the United Nations headquarters in New York City and in Montreal.
