Nino Sekhniashvili

Nino Sekhniashvili (b. 1979) is an artist based in Tbilisi, Georgia. She graduated Tbilisi State Fine Art Academy with diploma in Print Graphic and has developed as an artist while attending numerous artistic residencies and participating in artistic events in and out of Georgia. Her artistic language is not defined by any specific media but attempts to expand beyond traditional and contemporary visual techniques. In 2005 she together with Kate Siamashvili created fake music band DARIO RADIO. This collaboration makes artworks through the medium of scent. Sekhniashvili is a founder of the gallery and performance basement „Nnectar“ (Tbilisi).
