Olof Olsson
Olof Olsson (b.1965) talks about his work and himself:
“When Kennedy spoke about landing a man on the moon, one of the attractive aspects of that prospect is the fact that both man and moon start with the letter m. And are not the sounds the ball makes, one of the most appealing elements of the game of golf?
I am a product of the emerging charter tourism of the 1960s: my Dutch mother and Swedish father met in Mallorca. I have been living and working in the Danish capital Copenhagen since 1995.
In Webster’s Third New International Dictionary there are 8 chief definitions of the word ‘image’. In my art practice I try to think about all of them.”
The residency is realised with the support of Nordic Culture Point and Svenska kulturfonden.
